Held over several days around Buddha's Birthday (the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, usually in May) on the island of Cheung Chau, staged by the island community around the Pak Tai Temple. The Piu Sik (floating colors) parade of costumed children carried on poles and the midnight bun-scrambling race up the bamboo bun towers fall on the main day. 2026: the festival runs 21 to 25 May, with the parade and bun scramble on 24 May.

Held once a year on Whit Tuesday, the Tuesday after Pentecost, in the streets of Echternach, ending at the Basilica of Saint Willibrord. Organized by the Willibrordus-Bauverein and inscribed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage in 2010. The date moves with Easter between mid-May and mid-June: next on 18 May 2027, then around 6 June 2028; it repeats every Whit Tuesday.
