The catch: Dakhla is a kite camp town, not a destination. Evenings are quiet, the setting is desert, and if the person next to you at dinner is not talking about kitesurfing, they are asleep.

El Gouna, Egypt
The obvious October choice, and there is a reason: the Doctor thermal builds from noon and peaks at 15 to 25 knots most clear days, the Abu Tig lagoon is flat and organized, and resort infrastructure makes the whole trip frictionless. Short flights from Europe, warm water into November.
The catch, and why it is third: the wind is an afternoon thermal, not an all-day trade. You will ride two to four hours a day, not six, and on cloudy days you may not ride at all. Fine for a holiday with kiting in it; thin for a kiting trip.
