Programs give access to current and recent Ferrari models with professional instruction, in a controlled environment designed specifically for this purpose. This is not a supercar rental shop; it is the official program run by the manufacturer on their own track. The Enzo Ferrari Museum in nearby Modena covers the full history of the marque and pairs naturally with a circuit day. Few driving experiences anywhere in the world are as definitively located as this one.
Best months
Programs run April through October. The Mugello circuit near Florence is used for higher-performance program tiers. Spring and autumn give the most pleasant conditions for driving; avoid the humid July-August heat if possible. Fiorano is a short circuit (3km); sessions are structured around multiple timed runs rather than open lapping.
Getting there & around
Bologna airport (BLQ) is 45 minutes; Milan Malpensa (MXP) is under 2 hours. Book the Ferrari Driving Experience program well in advance through the official Ferrari website; slots at Fiorano are limited and popular dates sell out months ahead. Modena and Bologna are the obvious bases, both with excellent food and accommodation options. The factory tour (separate booking) is worth adding if your schedule allows. A full day for the driving experience; two days with the museum and factory makes a proper visit.
