Privacy Policy

Email address. We store your email if you sign up to the newsletter, complete the traveler quiz and choose to save the result, create an account, save a destination, join the waitlist, or ask to be told when an event’s dates are confirmed. We use it to send you what you asked for. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or pass it to third parties for their own use.

Account. You can create an account with a one-time sign-in link sent to your email, or by signing in with Google. Accounts are handled by Supabase Auth. We never see or store a password. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and name.

Saved destinations. If you save an activity or destination, we store what you saved against your email address, plus whether you asked to be notified about it.

Date alerts. Event pages let you ask to be emailed when an event’s dates are confirmed or when a confirmed event is approaching. We store your email address, which event you asked about, and the language your browser was set to. We use it for that alert and nothing else.

Quiz result. Your traveler profile from the quiz is saved in your browser (localStorage). It is sent to our servers only if you also provide your email.

How you found us. If you join the waitlist we record the campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) so we know which channel worked.

Analytics. We use PostHog to collect usage data: pages visited, features used, search activity, and coarse location derived from your IP address at the country level. This data is processed on EU servers. It is not linked to your identity unless you have provided your email.

Session recordings. We use PostHog session replay to record mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling to understand how people use the site. This is processed on EU servers. A replay may capture content visible on your screen during a session.

Anti-spam checks. Some forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at browser and network signals to tell people apart from bots.

Planning briefs. If you buy a planning service, the form you fill in is hosted by Tally and the answers you give are stored so we can write your plan.

Newsletter and account email. For as long as you are subscribed or hold an account, and for 24 months after your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted.

Saved destinations. Kept while your account exists. Deleted with the account.

Date alerts. Kept until we send the alert, then for 12 months, then deleted. If the event stops running and no alert is ever sent, the record is deleted after 24 months.

Waitlist. 24 months from signup.

Planning briefs and purchase records. Kept for as long as we need them to deliver the plan, and after that for as long as accounting and tax rules require us to retain business records.

Analytics. 12 months.

Session recordings. Deleted by PostHog 30 days after capture. We do not export or keep separate copies.

Server logs. Held by our host for up to 30 days.

Quiz result in your browser. Stays until you clear your browser storage. It is on your device, not ours.

A deletion request overrides all of the above, except where we are legally required to keep a record.
