Skydiving in DubaiAE

A hyper-modern city rising from the Arabian desert and Gulf coast — home to the Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, and a skyline that didn't exist forty years ago. Skydiving here means freefall over one of the world's most photogenic human-made landscapes.

Why here

Skydive Dubai offers the most architecturally spectacular freefall in the world: the Palm Jumeirah unfolds below on one side, the world's densest skyline on another, and the Arabian Gulf coastline stretching in every direction. The Desert Campus, active through the cooler months, adds a second dimension — freefall over an immense sand sea ringed by nothing. It is the only destination in skydiving where the built environment is itself the spectacle.

Best months

November through April is the prime window — temperatures between 20–32°C, low humidity, and stable air. Summer months (June–September) are too hot and humid for comfortable operations; both dropzones close or significantly reduce activity. The Palm Drop Zone is weather-dependent with morning slots offering the calmest conditions before sea breezes develop. Visibility is typically exceptional — on clear days the skyline from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi is visible.

Skydive Dubai is the UAE's only skydiving operator and one of the most recognisable dropzones in the world. They run two locations: the Palm Drop Zone at Dubai Harbour, where tandem jumpers freefall over the Palm Jumeirah and the city skyline at up to 13,000ft; and the Desert Campus in Margham, a full-service facility for AFF training and licensed sport jumpers, with freefall over open desert at up to 15,000ft. The Palm Drop Zone is the flagship experience — the aerial view of the Palm is singular. The Desert Campus is where serious training and coaching camps take place, far from the tourist infrastructure.
