Carnival climaxes on Carnival Monday and Tuesday, the two days before Ash Wednesday, so the dates move with the Christian calendar between early February and early March. The Panorama steelband final falls on the Saturday before, Dimanche Gras on the Sunday, and J'ouvert in the pre-dawn dark of Carnival Monday. Carnival 2027 is Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 February; 2028 is expected on 28 and 29 February.
