Why here

Blue Corner is the most celebrated dive site in Micronesia. Hook into the wall in 1-3 knots of current and watch gray reef sharks, whitetips, barracuda, and Napoleon wrasse pass at eye level. Add the largest WWII wreck graveyard in the Pacific, Jellyfish Lake, and German Channel manta cleaning station, Palau is the most complete advanced dive destination in the Pacific.

Getting there & around

Complex logistics

Fly via Manila (Philippine Airlines), Tokyo (JAL/ANA), Guam (United), or Seoul (Korean Air), limited daily connections, plan carefully. Shore-based resorts offer good diving; liveaboards cover more ground. The main operators are shore-based in Koror. USD is the local currency. Accommodation and diving prices are premium relative to Southeast Asia. Green fee applies on arrival.
