Why here

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is motorsport's oldest endurance race, run since 1923 partly on public roads, and attending it is unlike any other sporting event: a camping city of record size, 350,105 in 2026, watches hypercars race through dusk, night, and dawn, and the through-the-night hours are the point, not the price. The current era is golden, with Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Ford, Genesis, McLaren, Peugeot, and Toyota all entered in the top class for 2027. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest has organized it from the beginning, and its ticket-and-camping system is how the week is done properly.

Race week falls in mid-June; the 2027 edition runs June 9-13. Book campsites and grandstands up to a year ahead. June nights get cold trackside; the sunrise at Mulsanne rewards it.
