Why here

Geyikbayiri is Europe's other winter climbing refuge: Turkey's largest and most-visited sport-climbing area, 1,400-plus routes of tufa-draped limestone across every grade, half an hour from Antalya's airport and climbable from October to April when the Alps are buried. The infrastructure is the charm, a string of dedicated climber camps, JoSiTo in the middle of the crags, Climbers Garden, Kezban's, with camping for a few euros and bungalows for twenty to forty, which keeps a full season here cheaper than a week in a European resort. The adjacent Trebenna and Anatolia sectors extend the venue for long stays.

October through April is the season, November to March the prime friction; summer is far too hot. North and south-facing sectors let you chase sun or shade, and rain days are rare enough to plan around.
