OrganizerCork International Film Festival was founded in 1956 and is Ireland's oldest and largest film festival, running each November across cinemas and venues in Cork city. Over eleven days it screens international features, Irish premieres, documentaries and a strong program of short films, its long-central Oscar-qualifying strand among them. Funded principally by the Arts Council of Ireland with Cork City Council and Screen Ireland, it reaches its 71st edition in 2026, from 12 to 22 November.
