Best months
December to March, with weekend crowds up from Bucharest and midweek pleasantly clear. Snowmaking covers the main runs; the Postavarul top holds the best late-season snow. Book instructors ahead for holiday weeks.
Getting there & around
Fifteen minutes above Brasov, three hours from Bucharest. Stay in the resort for the lifts or in Brasov's old town for the city, with the morning bus between them.
