Why here

Dolomiti Superski is the largest ski carousel on earth, twelve valleys and about 1,200 kilometers of pistes on a single pass, set among UNESCO World Heritage rock that turns pink at dusk, the enrosadira no other range produces. The Sellaronda, a full lift-linked circumnavigation of the Sella massif, is skiable in a day in either direction and belongs on every skier's list. Cortina anchors it with fresh Olympic infrastructure from the 2026 Games and the country's oldest teaching tradition: Scuola Sci Cortina, founded 1933, was the first ski school in Italy and now fields 130-plus instructors in eight languages.

December through March is the core, with lifts running into early spring; February is the peak. Snowmaking coverage across the Superski network keeps the circuit reliable even in lean years. Weeks around Carnevale book out early.
