The Everglades National Park Institute, which trades as the Everglades Institute, is a partnership between Everglades National Park and the parks non-profit partner the Florida National Parks Association. The National Park Service names it on the parks own canoe and kayak trails page as the operator of guided paddling tours of Nine Mile Pond, supplying canoes and paddling equipment to all guests, when water levels permit. Its paddling programme includes the Nine Mile Pond Eco-Paddle, a guided canoe trip through Nine Mile Pond, a beginners canoeing session and a Florida Bay Eco Adventure departing from Flamingo at the Guy Bradley Visitor Center. Its office address is 10 Parachute Key, Homestead.
